Event Details

The NIPCC is offering six sessions on the Intelligent Mail Barcode over three days this summer.  You may sign up for one, two or receive a discount by signing up for all three days now.

 

Attend 4 of the 6 available sessons and receive the Intelligent Mail Professional Certificate.

 

June 24: 

Session 1:  Intelligent Mail Overview and the Basic Option

This session walks the beginner through the basics of IMB.  You'll learn the "how"            and "why" of IMB technology, terminology, requirements and other basic                     information.  Beginner


Session 2:  Initial Steps for Mailers, MID's & CRID's

This session walks through the first steps of implementation.  Learn how to develop a transition plan, obtain mailer ID's and work with your local mail preparer throughout this process.    Beginner-Intermediate

 

July 20:

Session 3:  Intelligent Mail - It's all About the Barcode

Learn detailed information about the Intelligent Mail Barcode and how to use it to your advantage.  Tracking mail from pallets to trays to each individual piece is covered in this session.  Technical recources will be available to answer all your questions.  Beginner

Session 4:  How to Work with Your Mail Preparer

Cover the necessary steps to partner with your mail preparer to implement IMB into your mailings.  Learn how to develop a strategic plan for testing, training and implementing IMB into your mail process and it's impact on your supply chain. Beginner-Intermediate

 

August 24:

Session 5:  Bringing it all Together

Review the Barcode Requirements and electronic documentation available to meet full service compliance and discounts.  Learn about Postal Wizard, Mail.dat and Mail.xml.  Intermediate

Session 6:  Business Customer Gateway

Finally, learn how to use the Business Customer Gateway to pay postage, audit mail activity, access your Micro Strategy Mail Quality Reports and meet Full Service requirements.  This sessions provides in-depth instruction on using PostalOne!  Intermediate

 

7:30 am Registration, Networking and Continental Breakfast

8:30 - 11:30 am  Two Educational Sessions

All attendees will receive a take home kit of important resource information and the "ABC's of IMB" CD.

The NIPCC is organized at the local community level to:

Establish regular communication between postal customers and local postal managers.

Provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas and suggestions.

Ensure that postal customers are aware of the latest in postal services and rates.

Create a better understanding of the Postal Service through business meetings, mailer clinics, mailing seminars, tours of postal facilities and visits to other customers' plants.

Provide information so that customers can make the most effective and efficient use of postal services and products.

The Postal Customer Councils help keep customers appraised of changes in service, make suggestions or improvements to their local Postal carriers, and give customers a role in the Postal decision-making process.

Provide an organized way for postal speakers to present postal programs to customers groups.
